Glenda Sue Lynn

Born July 5, 1955, in Carrollton to Gilbert Ray and Helen Olive (Motley) Wallis, she married Thomas “Tom” Lynn on August 7, 1974, in Jacksonville. He survives.

Also surviving are two children, Dawn (Jared) Burqet of Artesia, New Mexico and Terry (Valerie) Lynn of Pekin; six grandchildren, Milena (Colton) Reed, Andrea (Isaac) Pavesich, Samara (Michael) Ross, all of Pekin, Griffin Watts of Green Valley, Dreighton Burget and Gillian Burget, both of Artesia, New Mexico; two brothers, Ron (Bonnie) Wallis and Wayne (Debbie) Wallis; one sister, Darlene (Ron) Arnold and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents,

Glenda was a homemaker and previously worked in real estate and as a CNA.

She enjoyed gardening and playing with her dog, Harley.

Her memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
