She was born on May 28, 1930 in Pekin to Chester and Anna (Eggena) Seelye. They preceded her in death
Helen is survived by two sons, Randy Struben of Green Valley and Darryl Struben of Pekin; one daughter, Yvonne (David) Hand of Green Valley; five grandchildren, Ashley (Tiffany) Struben, Chelsea (Curtis) Wall, Alyssa, Derek and Ellery Hand; five great grandchildren, Myles and Peighton Struben, Ryleigh, Zaiden, and Zaileigh Wall.
Helen worked as a bookkeeper and was the owner of S & S Fashion Floors. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Green Valley and enjoyed dancing and taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2021 with visitation one hour prior to the service at St. John's Lutheran Church in Green Valley. Pastor Chris Sansom will officiate. Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin is in charge of arrangements.
Burial will be in the Sand Prairie Cemetery near Green Valley. A celebration of life will follow the burial at 2 P's Pizza in Pekin from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm.
