

Jackie A Feicke, 78 yrs. of age, passed away at 2:59 p.m. Saturday, July 10, 2010 at his residence in North Pekin. He was born August 7th, 1932 in Mackinaw, IL to August & Mary Feicke of Mackinaw, IL. Jack married Evelyn Lucille Bloomer on April 6th,1957 in Springfield, IL.
Preceding him in death were both parents and one brother, Franklin Feicke of CA.
Surviving are his wife Evelyn of 53 years; one daughter Mary (Jim) Harrison of Pekin; two sons James (Linda) Feicke of Talbotts Addition, Timothy (Leeann) Feicke of Pekin; seven grandchildren: Christy (Steve) Baker of Green Valley, Susan Wolf of Manito, Sarah Feicke of Madison, WI, Michelle Feicke of Pekin, Desirea Feicke of Fort Riley, KS, Jackie Feicke of Metamora and Jocelyn Feicke of Metamora. He also has seven great grandchildren: Wesley, Aaren, Jackson, Lyric, Liberty, Cambree and Izaak.
Jackie served 4 years in the U.S. Navy on the U.S.S Bearss, receiving the following medals during the Korean War: European Service Metal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Metal, and Good Conduct Medal. He retired from Caterpillar Inc. as a pipefitter in September of 1989.
Jackie’s passion was fishing, hunting and gardening which was also passed down through his children. He also lived every moment for his family, especially his children, grandchildren & great grandchildren. He was also loved by Shanon, Stacy, Tiffiany, Mackenzie, and Tony.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 15, 2010 at Woolsey Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded.
