Jacqueline J. May

Jacqueline J. May, 82, of Pekin, passed away at 7:35 a.m. Sunday, December 18, 2011 at her daughter and son-in-law’s home where she resided. Born February 9, 1929 in Peoria County, Illinois to Fred and Louise (Serpette) Buerke, she married Bob E. May Sr. July 11, 1953 in Fulton County, Tennessee. He preceded her in death July 25, 1984 in Peoria.

Surviving are daughters: Cindy (Todd) Skaggs of Peoria; Bobette (Gene) Fourdyce of Minnesota, Bettie (Terry) Blair Sr. of Pekin; sons: Bob (Debra) May Jr. of Peoria, Scott (Kimberly) May of Creve Coeur, and Fred (Mary) May of Peoria; sister: Beverly Beck of Florida; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandsons; two nieces; 1 nephew; 7 great-nieces and nephews; and 5 great-great nieces and nephews.

Jackie worked many years in the tax and accounting business, last working at her own business “Jackie and Bettie’s Accounting and Tax Service” in Pekin from 1997 – 2007.

Funeral service for Jackie will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Davison-Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin, with Chaplain Dwight Winnett officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior. Entombment will be at American Mausoleum in Peoria.
