Born March 1, 1954 in Pekin to Marvin and Wilma Bolson, he married Dollie Ann Goodwin. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Shane Bolson of Pekin; and two grandchildren, Dakota Bolson and Arizona Bolson, both of Pekin.
His parents preceded him in death.
Jeff worked at Caterpillar, Inc. in East Peoria for 30 years.
He attended First Baptist Church in Pekin.
An avid photographer, Jeff volunteered his photography talents at both Wildlife Prairie Park and Glen Oak Zoo. Jeff also enjoyed furthering his knowledge and education.
Private services will be held at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Chris Garrett will officiate. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
