PEKIN ~ Jerry Lee Friday, 59, of 1420 Morton Street, Apt. 1, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Sunday, July 18, 2010 at his residence.He was born Nov. 3, 1950 in Pekin to Harry Lee and LaVeina (Hopkins) Friday. His parents preceded him in death.Surviving is an aunt, Sarah Frances Sultzman of Hannibal, MO.Jerry was last employed as a dish washer for Kelly Avenue Grill in Pekin.Jerry was a faithful member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin, where he also was a member of the Y.A.M. Adult Sunday School Class.His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010 at Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. There will be no visitation. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Burial of his cremated remains will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Café, a ministry of Grace United Methodist Church, 503 North 4th Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
