Jessica L Stuart

Born April 28, 1988 in Peoria to Mark Allen and Kimberly Charyl (Schlosser) Stuart, she married Brandon E. Abernathy. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Kimberly Porter of East Peoria; her father and stepmother, Mark and Valerie Stuart of Pekin; two sons, Rylan Abernathy and Taydon Abernathy; one brother, Jacob (Aleesha Dupage) Stuart of Pekin; one half-sister, Alyssa Stuart of Pekin; two stepbrothers, Korey Robinson of Arizona and Colton Houseworth of Washington; two half-brothers, Logan Huskisson and Quinn Huskisson, both of Pekin and her paternal grandmother, Kathleen (Ron Pacione) Stuart of Morton. She also leaves a loving boyfriend, Alex Jones of Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Chuck and Nancy Schlosser and her paternal grandfather, Robert James Stuart.

Jessica last worked as a manager at Godfather’s Pizza in Pekin. She loved her kids. Jessica loved guitar music and watching funny movies with family and friends. She also had a great sense of humor.

Her memorial service celebrating her life will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor James C. McClarey will officiate. Guidelines regarding social distancing and wearing of masks will be followed.
