Born January 26, 1968 in Pekin to Joseph N. and Linda (Greenwood) Hoerr, Sr., he married Dawn Rene Peacock on January 25, 1991 in Pekin. She died July 1, 2020 in Pekin. He was also preceded in death by his parents; one son, Joseph N. Hoerr, III on December 28, 2016.
Surviving are one daughter, Stephanie (Perry) Edmiston of Pekin; three grandchildren, Peyton, Adryan and Marshall; one brother, Terry (Kay) Hoerr of Pekin and one sister, Deanna (Nick) Lucas of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Joe had worked at A.D.M. as a Distillation Powerhouse Operator 1 for 24 years, retiring in 2021.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his Harley.
His memorial visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
