Karman Jessica Jones

She was born on October 17, 2013 in Peoria to Christopher Jones and Terra Putney.

Surviving are her father, Christopher (Cassie) Jones of Pekin; her step-dad, Jared Durbin; six siblings, Paetyn and Dairyen Putney of Kirkwood, Wyatt Jones of Canton, Beau Jones of Pekin, Mason Durbin of Kirkwood and Dixie Nyberg of Pekin; Maternal Grandparents, Mary Jo and Chris Eads of Chillicothe and Thomas Verci of Peoria; Paternal Grandparents, Naomi and Steve Armstrong of Peoria, Sheila Leach of East Peoria and Eric and Dawn Nash of Mapleton; several aunts, uncles and cousin; two turtles, Myrtle and Leo; a bearded dragon, Scarlet; her husky, Sarge and a new puppy, Onyx.

She was preceded in death by one paternal grandfather, John Jones.

Karman will be remembered as the smart and sassy girl who adored her family. She loved spending time with her animals, friends and especially her parents. She enjoyed doing pageants, watching Pokémon and loved all things unicorn. She also enjoyed camping, fishing and baking.

She was a member of Calvary Assembly Church in Galesburg.

Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 9, 2022 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Judy Doyle will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral Home.

Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, October 10th from 5:00 – 9:00 PM at Quality Inn and Suites – 4112 N. Brandywine Drive in Peoria.
