Kevin Dennis Tate

Born August 16, 1957 in Peoria to Carl and Phyllis Eileen (Goeken) Williams, he married Dawn Williams in Honolulu, Hawaii on July 4th, 2013. She survives.

Also surviving are four children, Ashton (Evan) Kubina of Diamond, Tiffany Tate of Japan, Andrea Clarchick of East Peoria and Desiree Williams of North Pekin; Eight grandchildren, Holly, Lillian, Piper, Marcus, Karson, Lukas, Teddy and Jameson; two aunts, Rose Goeken of Green Valley and Frances (Tom) Sheets of Lacon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one uncle, Ben Goeken.

Kevin graduated from Green Valley High School.

He was millwright at Aventine Renewable Energy for many years.

He enjoyed motorcycles, the Peoria TT races and the VFW # 1232 with friends and family. He was a former member of Pekin Motorcycle Club and Masonic Lodge # 352 in Morton. Kevin loved the outdoors, gardening, fishing and most of all spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was known for his family breakfast, baking and cooking for his grandchildren whenever he could. Kevin loved football and was a diehard Dallas Cowboys fan.

His Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
