

He was born October 8, 1969 in Pekin to Dan and Gloria Jean (Buttrum) Thompson. His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Tiffany Thompson of Hanna City and Danielle (Jeremy) Kruzan of Bryant; two sons, Kevin Thompson of Bartonville and Devin Thompson of Creve Coeur; one step-daughter, Sarah Hickman of Creve Coeur; one step-son, Michael Hickman of Creve Coeur; three grandchildren, Lillyanne Kruzan, Lanxten Kruzan and Layanna Kruzan, all of Bryant; three sisters, Kim (Joe) Chapman of Yates City, Missy Bohm of Peoria and Penny (Dave) O’Day of Bartonville; three brothers, Kirk Bohm of Bartonville, Jamie (Kim) Bohm of Cooper Hill, Tennessee and Derek Bohm of Creve Coeur; three nephews, Brian Strickfaden of Peoria, Keith Strickfaden of Oceanside, California and Keither Chapman of Yates City; and one great-niece Keelei Strickfaden of Oceanside, California. He also leaves behind his fiancé, Shotsie Woodley of Creve Coeur.
Kevin had worked in construction.
A Jimmie Johnson fan, Kevin enjoyed watching NASCAR. He also was a Green Bay Packers fan. He cherished time spent with family.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. There will be no funeral service. Cremation rites will be accorded following visitation.
Memorial contributions may be given to the family to help with expenses.
