Kevin A Wright

He was born September 12, 1957 in Sterling to Arthur L. and Beverly Ann (Johannsen) Wright.

Surviving are his mother, Beverly Castle of Pekin; his father, Arthur and Marianne Wright of Rock Falls; one daughter, Jennifer Marie Kinder of Pekin; two sisters, Torrie (Michael Ihben) Wood of Marquette Heights and Kim Rieck of Pekin; three grandchildren, Sierra Beever, Damien Beever and Kailiegh Beever; two half-brothers, Timothy (Heather) Wright of Sterling and Marc (Linda) Wright of North Chicago; two half-sisters, Maurine (Kevin) Frankfother of Rock Falls and Ginger (Timothy) Pinkston of Sullivan, Indiana and a foster brother, Brian Eberly of Virginia. He also leaves his niece, Kristina Burgard of East Peoria and his nephew, Thomas Wright of Pekin, both whom he helped raise.

He was preceded in death by one infant sister and one half-brother.

Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Army and was of the Christian faith.

He loved horses, enjoyed playing chess and had the biggest heart for Children.

Kevin worked for many years as a construction laborer.

His memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2008at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. Pastor Timothy Wright will officiate.
