Kipling R "Kip" Snyder, II

Born September 13, 1978 in Pekin to Kipling R. and Theresa (Forbes) Snyder, he married Cori Jones on March 31, 2006 in Pekin. She survives. Also surviving are his parents, Kip (Michele) Snyder of Pekin; his mother Theresa Evard of Lebanon, MO, three sons, Noah Hazlett of Creve Coeur, Keagan Snyder and Hudson Snyder, both of Marquette Heights; one daughter, Paige Snyder of Marquette Heights; two sisters, Melanie Scott of Milan, MO and Terri Snyder of Lebanon, MO. He was also looking forward to the birth of his first grandchild.

Preceding him in death are his step-father, Glenn Evard and one brother, Mike Lightbody.

He had worked for Matcor Metal Fabrication in Morton for 13 years, last working on Friday.

Kip loved riding his motorcycle and he rode with the Outlaw Motorcycle Club, Peoria. He also enjoyed doing charity rides on his motorcycle, tinkering on anything with a motor and he was a history buff. He liked his P.B.R., music and napping in his chair. He really loved spending time with his family.

His visitation will be Tuesday, October 23, 2018 from 4 until 7 p.m. at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no service. Cremation will follow the visitation.
