Lenna Lou Watts

Born September 19, 1937 in Texas County, Missouri to Dillard Lester and Edna May (Archer) Cox, she married Dale Eugene Watts on May 27, 1955 in Cabool, Missouri. He died September 5, 2015 in Pekin. She also was preceded in death by her parents; her son-in-law, Rick Myers; one brother, Ray Pippen; four half-sisters and three half-brothers.

Surviving are one daughter, Deborah Myers of Pekin; one son, Ronald (Janet) Watts of Pekin; four grandchildren, Eric (Rachel) Myers, Greg (Chelsea) Watts, Ivy Hundt and Christy (Devin) Burks, all of Pekin; eleven great-grandchildren, Chloe (Kamren) Brown, Kelsie Hundt, Carleigh Hundt, Tori Burks, Maverick Burks, Sofia Myers, Olivia Myers, Sawyer Myers, Gabbi Little, Kensleigh Watts and Jett Watts; one great-great-grandson, Hudson Brown; one sister, Della “Susie” Kirkman of Cabool, Missouri and a sister-in-law, Nancy Watts of Peoria.

Lenna was a school secretary for North Pekin – Marquette Heights School District 102 at Georgetowne Middle School. She later worked as a Data Input Operator for the Illinois Department of Human Services. She last worked for Woodpro Cabinetry in Cabool, Missouri as a secretary.

She was passionate about sewing, reading, and bowling. Lenna cherished her family.

Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor W. Lloyd Brock will officiate. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home. Private inurnment will follow the service at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
