Linda Kay Porter

She was born on July 23, 1961 in Peoria to Carl Franklin and Doris Maxine (Pierce) Cody. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Glenda Porter and Brenda Tucker and two cats, Baby and Spaz.

Surviving is three daughters, Christy Edwards of Palmetto, Florida, Melissa Lott of Elko, Nevada, and Jamie (Samuel) Cardenaz of Odessa, Texas; ten grandchildren, Kaylee, Gabriella, Cody, Javier, Devon, Shyanna, Anthony, Anaya, Samuel, Nevaeh; six great-grandchildren, Meilani, Blaine, Lylah, Malayah, Amiyah, Amari; four siblings, Carles (Pam) Cody, Jerry Don Cody, Rhonda Fillmore, and Nola Mallicoat and long-time friend, Mark Thorn.

Linda was an office manager and secretary for many years.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles, crafting and spending time with her pets.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date.

Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
