Linda Sue Ruhaak

Born July 13, 1957, in Peoria to Reid Griffith Sr. and Emma Allen, she married Thomas Ruhaak on August 24, 1979, in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are three sons, Christopher Ruhaak of Peoria, Joe (Sara) Ruhaak of Pekin and Jon Ruhaak of Peoria and one sister, Sandy (Charles G.) Glover of Morton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Amy Ruhaak and one brother, Reid Griffith, Jr.

Linda was a postal worker for the United States Postal Service.

She loved spending time with her children and attending more than 50 Willie Nelson concerts with her husband. She also enjoyed bird watching, gardening, watching nature shows and playing various games such as Scrabble, Yahtzee and cards.

Her memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 23, 2026, at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Visitation will begin one hour prior. Cremation has been accorded.
