

GREEN VALLEY ~ Lorraine Kay Bennett, 65, of 124 Country Drive, passed away at 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2008 at Pekin Hospital. Born April 11, 1942 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lee Roy and Hester (Holloway) Cavin, she married James Feasley in 1960 in Hudson. She later married Bill Bennett on November 25, 1989 in Groveland. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, James Feasley of Arizona and Robert (Deanne) Feasley of Mackinaw; two daughters, Sherry Ragland and Rhonda Maloney, both of Pekin; one step-son, Kevin (Angie) Bennett of Pekin; one step-daughter, Sherie (David) Petty of Manchester, Tennessee; fifteen grandchildren, one great-grandchild; one sister, Louise Johnson of Pekin; and one brother, Steve Aderholt of Prescott, Arizona. Her parents preceded her in death. Kay worked for 15 years in the accounts payable office at Caterpillar, Inc. in Peoria, last working in 1997.Her family and friends were the most important things to her. She loved her children and grandchildren tremendously. She also enjoyed long walks and the beauty of nature.She attended First United Presbyterian Church in Pekin. Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2008 at thePreston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Kevin Robbins and Rev. Sammy Barger will officiate. Visitation will be from 12 to 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan B.
