Born November 1, 1959 in Peoria to Charles L. and Deloris (Hillman) Hart, she married Terry Bolton on August 5, 1978 in East Peoria, IL He survives.
Also surviving are her children, Marc (Crystal) Person-Bolton of Bloomington and Laura (Matthew) Perkins of Indianapolis, Indiana; two grandchildren, Meredith Perkins and Jude Person-Bolton; five siblings, Rose (Bob) Masters of East Peoria, Sherri (Bill) Deitrich of Morton, Bob (Faith) Hart of Congerville, Bill (Terri) Hart of Goodfield and Audrey Chapin of Paradise, California and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jack Hart and Joe Hart.
Lynda worked as an administrative assistant at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria for nine years.
An avid gardener, Lynda also loved doing arts, crafts, and scrapbooking. She had a passion for singing. She was an active member of the Creve Coeur Christian Church. Lynda was also a member of the church’s praise team.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023 at Creve Coeur Christian Church. Pastor Bill Holley will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Hickory Point Cemetery in Metamora.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
