

Born December 20, 1969 in Pekin to Cheryl Irene Conley and Danny Ray Massey, she married Richard Charles Townley on September 17, 2014 in Daytona Beach, Florida. In their 11 years of marriage, they have lived in Iowa, Illinois, Florida and finally resided in Bentonville, Arkansas where she passed at home.
Surviving are her husband, Richard; her Mother, Cheryl Massey; her daughter, Samantha; four grandchildren, Aubreyonna, Alyonna, Kendrick and Ka'Mya; her brothers, Dan Massey and Derick Massey; maternal uncle, Gene (Maria) Fioravante; paternal uncle, Dr. Gary (Rene) Massey and many cousins.
Lynette was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Faith Conley- Cornwell and Joyce Massey-Youngren; her father, Danny Massey and her maternal uncle, Jim Conley.
Lynette attended Pekin Community High School, Logos Christian School in Morton and Illinois Central College. She was a caretaker for several years and certified as the liaison with the Birdwell Foundation for veterans suffering from PTSD. She loved her family, her dogs, and crafting and she was very artistic and loved by all who knew her. She left us too soon and will be greatly missed and forever loved and cherished.
Her memorial visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded.
