

Born November 12, 1937 in Peoria to William and Lula Mae (Osborne) Moyer, she married Arthur Lockwood on July 9, 1954 in Peoria. She later married Richard Lee Davis on January 28, 1977 in Peoria. He died on February 27, 2001 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one sister; one brother and one grandson, Curt Byars on January 27, 2010 in Pekin.
Surviving are three sons, Bryan (Julie) Lockwood of Rutherfordton, NC, Garry (Lori) Lockwood of Pekin, Donald (Joanna) Davis of Sunnyland; two daughters, Cheryl (James) Bolen of Pekin, Deann (Andy) Falatko of Washington; eleven grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great great-grandchildren; one sister, Diane (Ken) Reed of East Peoria and one brother, William Moyer of Minier.
Marlene had worked for Kentucky Fried Chicken in Peoria as a manager until her retirement in 1996.
A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Marlene enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing with her husband and son Garry, working in her yard, being outdoors, going for car rides, shopping and genealogy.
A Celebration of Life service will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday July 14, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. There will be no visitation. Burial of cremated remains will be in Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at 11 a.m.
