

Born December 14, 1953 in Peoria to Jack and Marilyn Ann (Vermillion) Rosenak, she married Fran Bourdeau on June 3, 1982 in St. Petersburg, Florida. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Marilyn (Tom) Marlott of Pekin; one daughter, Julie A. (Alan) Davison of Katy, Texas; one son, Josh K. (Sarah Hutchings) Ramsey of Groveland; four grandchildren, Mason D. Ghidina, Hunter P. Davison, Spencer E. Davison and Drake P. Davison and three brothers, Dennis E. (Becky) Rosenak, Mark S. (Mary) Rosenak, both of Pekin and Jack (Sue) Rosenak, Jr. of Mapleton.
She was preceded in death by her father on November 27, 1997 in Pekin.
Mary was retired from the City of Pekin after 28 years of service, where she worked for the Police Department and as a paralegal.
Mary had a vibrant personality, touched many lives and was loved by many. Along with being devoted to her family and grandchildren, she loved being outdoors and especially at St. Pete Beach. She was an avid golfer and was proud to have been selected “Miss Congeniality” at a Sunset Hills Ladies Best Ball. She also enjoyed gardening, quilting and working with stained glass. Mary was fond of dogs and loved her dogs, Annie and Lexi.
Mary loved life, loved people and was a person of faith. She often said, “Let Go and Let God.” She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin.
A memorial service celebrating her life will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. The family will greet friends following the service at a luncheon at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
Anyone that knows the Rosenak family, knows that golf is a big part of their life. Therefore, the family suggests memorial contributions be made, in lieu of flowers, to the St. Jude Tazewell County Golf Classic for the Rosenak Scholarship, in care of the funeral home, 500 North 4th Street, Pekin, IL 61554 or to the OSF Richard L.
