Mary Ellen Ellen and I shared the joys and sorrows of our lives for over 25 years.  She is the most loving, compassionate, and intelligent person I have had the joy to know. We share many memories and I will greatly miss our long, extended phone calls.  Jim and I send our sincere sympathy to her family

You may not remember me, but I remember you when you were a lot younger than you are today.  I was a member of your mom's bridge club back in the late 80's and early 90's and would hear her talk about you and occasionally see you when we played at your home.  She was an excellent bridge player and had  such a good sense of humor!  Please know how sorry I am for your loss.  My thoughts and prayers are with  you now and in the days ahead.

I am so sorry for your loss.  I was a friend of Mary Ellen's when we were in Junior Women's Club together. She was such a talented, intelligent person. She had the poise and charisma to deal with every situation with grace. I admired her very much.  She will be missed.

To Mary Ellen's family,

Mary Ellen was for many years a part of our family during the time that Lisa was Miss Illinois in 1986, She did so much to help Lisa and for this we are very thankfull and we are so sad to learn of her passing.
