

Born October 29, 1945 in Peoria to Everett James and Louise (Anderson) Fabry, she married Michael B. Hyde on October 4, 1964 in Pekin.
Surviving are her mother of Pekin; two sons, Jeffrey M. (Heather Daugherty) Hyde of Peoria Heights and James L. (Renny) Hyde of Pekin; one daughter, Jennifer L. (Bradley) Jockisch of Manito; two grandchildren, Sean Aaron Hyde of Pekin and Ayla Ellen Jockisch of Manito; one brother, Mark S. Fabry of Eureka and one sister, Peggy S. (Jim) Collins of Pekin.
Her father preceded her in death.
Mary Ellen worked for STL Office Solutions in East Peoria for more than three years, last working Thursday in purchasing.
She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Pekin. She also was a member of the Red Hat Society. Mary Ellen enjoyed reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She was a former member of the Pekin Junior Women's Club and was involved for many years with both the Newcomer and Miss America organizations.
Her memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2007at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 19, 2007at the funeral home. Burial of cremains will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
