Mary E (Higdon) Schuck

CREVE COEUR ~ Mary Elizabeth (Higdon) Schuck, 59, of 937 Pekin Avenue, passed away at 4:30 a.m. Monday, February 18, 2008 at her residence. She was born July 23, 1948 in Pekin to George Edward Sr. and Joyce Evelyn (Sutter) Higdon.Surviving are her mother of Creve Coeur; three daughters, Ellie May (Randy Lee) Vogel, Sandy Schuck and Marla Schuck, all of Pekin; two sons, George Higdon of Menominee, Wisconsin and Joshua Schuck of Creve Coeur; three grandchildren, Mary Vogel, Georgie Higdon III, and Elizabeth Higdon; two brothers, Darrell (Jacque) Higdon of Memphis, Tennessee and Tom (Linda) Higdon of Creve Coeur; one niece, Breanna Higdon of Creve Coeur and one nephew, Kevin Higdon of Memphis, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, George Edward Higdon Jr. Mary worked in the dietary department at Fon du Lac Nursing Home in East Peoria for over 10 years. She was a member of Creve Coeur Christian Church. Mary enjoyed taking car rides with her mother.Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 21, 2008at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel. The Rev. John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Cremation will be accorded following services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Creve Coeur Christian Church, or to the Creve Coeur Food Bank, both located at 101 South Thorncrest Avenue, Creve Coeur, IL 61610.
