Mary Louise Schramm

Born January 13, 1962 in Pekin, she was the daughter of Arthur Albert and Elizabeth Mae (Jacob) Schramm. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by her sister, Julie R. McCoy.

Surviving are one brother, Jim (Joy) Schramm of Pekin; her brother-in-law, Scott McCoy of Pekin; nieces and nephews, Beau Schramm, JoElle Schramm, Allison (Kurt) Hutchings, Josh (Amy) McCoy and Jake (Kristin) McCoy and her great-nieces and nephews, Paige Schramm, Lila Hutchings, Marian Hutchings, Gwendolyn Hutchings, Spencer McCoy, Hunter McCoy, Brooklyn McCoy, Claire McCoy and Benjamin McCoy.

Mary had worked at Tazewell County Resource Centers, Inc. She enjoyed fishing and had a passion for stuffed animals, especially bears. She also loved to go out to eat as well.

She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ in Pekin.

A private celebration of life will be held. Inurnment will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.

Memorial contributions may be made to Schramm Educational Center, 300 Cedar Street, Pekin, IL 61554. Mary’s family has always had a special affinity for the school. Mary attended school there and the land the school sits on was donated by her family.
