Michael Scott Brady

He was born January 2, 1954 in Pekin to James and Karen (Kellogg) Brady.

Surviving are his parents of Pekin; one brother, Kevin (Jeanne) Brady of Pekin; two sisters, Cynthia (Kelly) Madden and Kathy (David) Potter, both of Pekin; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He also leaves his special caregiver, Kira Cravens of Bartonville.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents and one brother, Jim Brady.

Mike had worked in his younger years carrying out groceries and also in maintenance for Parkview Golf Course.

Although he hasn’t been able to ride for some time, Mike never lost his love of riding motorcycles. He also became a talented artist who loved to draw. He also enjoyed being on his computer and playing racing games.

His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Mark Utech will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral Thursday. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
