

Born September 30, 1941 in Pekin to Earl S. and Hermina (Bishop) Stauffer, he married Jane (Church) Davis on July 2, 1994 in Pekin. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Daniel (Jenny) S. Stauffer and Dean (Shannon Hagoort) F. Stauffer, both of Tucson, Arizona; one daughter, Amy L. Stauffer of Concord, California; two step children, Theresa (Troy) L. Fardel of Pekin and Richard W. Crowe Jr. of Creve Coeur; seven grandchildren, Braydon Stauffer, Ellenna Stauffer, Delaney Stauffer, Zachery Jiminez, Hannah Jiminez, Emma Stauffer and Daisy Stauffer; five step-grandchildren, Cathy (Ryan) Sangalli, Briana (Ryan) Salazar, Alexis Fardel, Brody Rendelman and Bailey Crowe and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Malcom Stauffer and Dwayne Stauffer.
Mike was a salesman most of his life, he last worked in central supply at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed watching western movies and was a history buff, specifically about World War II.
His memorial service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at Pekin Bible Church. Pastor Chad Nightingale will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. A private burial will be held at Prairie Rest Cemetery in Delavan. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
