

She was born June 11, 1941 in Lacon to Ernest Delmar and Lottie Henrietta Marple Pyles.
Surviving are 4 daughters, Marvella Heyl and Robin (Jay) Survis, both of Chillicothe, Sherri (Ben Vogel) Sikes of Pekin, and Kathy (Kenny) Hughes of Washington; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters, Vista (Ray) Beasley of Depue, Carol (William) Parrish of Sparland, Norma (Joe) Kolesar of Lake Forest, California, and JoEllen Real of Putnam; a sister-in-law, Jan Pyles of Lacon; and 4 brothers, Dale Pyles of Trivoli, Dennis (Becky) Pyles of Sparland, Ed (Mary) Pyles of Queen City, Missouri, and Rod (Bev) Pyles of East Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother, Eugene Pyles; and the "Love of Her Life", David M. Rogers.
Nancy was a sales associate at J.C. Penney in Peoria for 25 years, retiring in 1996.
She was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
Nancy enjoyed reading, hunting, fishing, and antiquing.
She has donated her body to science.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be from 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2007at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel.
