She was born in Pekin Illinois on June 17, 1933 to James and Bernice Brady.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Joanie, one brother, James Brady, daughter, Diane Lott, and her daughter-in-law Deborah Utech.
She is survived by her son, Pastor Mark Utech, 4 grandsons, Ryan (Abby) Culp of Tremont, Ian (Sheena) Lott of Washington, Travis (Bekah) Culp of Sayulita, Mexico, W. Christopher Utech of Peoria, and one granddaughter Becca (Jason) Potter of East Peoria.
Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 2 great grand-girls that she loved very much.
She graduated from Pekin Community High School in 1951.
She later married William Wallace Utech.
PJ, as she liked to be called, was a wife, a mother, and homemaker. She was a great cook, enjoyed sewing, and reading mysteries and love novels. Her greatest read was the Bible, which she knew quite well. PJ was an incredible woman of faith.
She continues to be a great inspiration to her son and was one of 7 people that began Derby St. New Life Fellowship on August 13, 2006. PJ ministered to many at her church and loved being in service there when she was able.
There will be a private “Thanks Mom” service for her due to covid. Her son Rev. W. Mark Utech will officiate.
Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes and Crematory in Pekin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to her church, Derby St. New Life Fellowship, 1010 Derby St. Pekin Illinois.
