Phillip Winger

Born December 27, 1977 in Pekin to Lia Marie Peyton, he married Misty May Ohnemus on May 28, 2004 in Pekin. She survives.

Also surviving are his two sons of Pekin; Phillip Michael Winger, II and Shay Lon Winger; three dogs and many family members and friends that loved him very much.

Phillip is now at peace with his brother, Jerry “Skeeter” Winger, who was the father he never had.

He was a loving and caring person, who would do anything for anyone without expecting anything in return. Phillip had so much love for all animals and was a self-proclaimed

“dog whisperer”. He enjoyed hiking, fishing, four wheeling and tinkering with things in his garage.

Phillip was the sole provider for his family. He was a hard worker and frequently held more than one job.

There will be no services or visitation at this time. Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
