PEORIA ~ Randall Joe Leach was born on May 12, 1957 in Peoria, Illinois to Charles Edward and Juanita Hester (Potter) Leach. He grew up and lived most of his life in Peoria. Randy was married to Brenda Rohn on February 28, 1977 and from their union came two sons, Randall Jr. and Matthew; also his firstborn son, Wes, who was from a previous relationship. Randy worked for 30 years as a surface miner for the Illinois Cement Company in LaSalle, Illinois; he retired in 2008.
Randy was married to Nancy Evans on May 29, 1999 in Peoria and he also gained his only daughter, Cassie who he lovingly referred to as Biscuit. Nancy and Randy loved each other very much and always had a great time together no matter what they were doing. Randy bought a Harley Davidson motorcycle in 1989 and began living a biker lifestyle that he and Nancy both loved. They have traveled all over the United States to many bike rallies and events and have made many friends along the way. Randy was the kind of guy who never met a stranger, he loved socializing and was always the life of the party. He had an unmistakable laugh and a great sense of humor. He could give advice to you on just about any topic, whether you wanted it or not. When he and Nancy were at home, he enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing, raising chickens and always had a nice, big vegetable garden.
Randy was a great husband, dad, brother, grandpa and friend and he will be missed by everyone who shared his life.
He is survived by his wife Nancy of the home; 3 sons, Wes McGownd of Peoria, IL, Randall Joe Leach Jr. of Roselle, IL and Matthew Todd Leach of Peru, IL; 1 daughter Cassie Lynn Trent of Pryor; 6 grandchildren Hannah, Matthew, Ella, Justice-Randall, Liberty-Belle and Ariana; 2 brothers Ricky Leach of Tahlequah, Charles Leach of Peoria, IL and 6 sisters Maxine Williams of Belleview, FL, Carol D’Alfonso of Peoria, IL, Vicky Trevino of Peoria, IL, Sherry Jenkins of San Antonio, Penny Oliver of Bowie, MD and Peggy Giacobazzi of Linthicum, MD.
