Randy Brewer

PEKIN ~ Randall Gene “Randy” Brewer, 55, of Pekin, formerly of East Peoria, passed away at 10:43 a.m. Friday, September 14, 2012 at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria.  He went to be with his Lord and Savior. 

He was born January 26, 1957 in Peoria to Chester and Dorothy (Huber) Brewer.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his father of Pekin; three brothers, his twin, Richard (Karen) Brewer of Pekin, Raymond Brewer of New Albany, IN and Rod (Amy) Brewer of Speer; four nieces, Sarah, Rachel, Hayley and Emily; two nephews, Zach and Neil and one great niece, Claire.

He was preceded in death by his mother on November 7, 2010 in Pekin.

Randy graduated from East Peoria Community High School in 1974 and worked thirty-two years alongside his father and twin brother at Brewer Machine Shop in Morton.

He helped his father build two houses and enjoyed professional wrestling.

Randy was a lifetime member of the East Peoria Church of the Nazarene.

He had a strong love for his family and spent most of his time with his twin brother, whom he shared a special bond.  Randy loved the Lord with great passion.  He will be sadly missed by his family and friends who loved him dearly.

His funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012 at the East Peoria Church of the Nazarene.  The Rev. Tim Livengood will officiate.  Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin, and also one hour before the funeral Thursday at the church.  Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
