Randy Lee Garmann

Born January 20, 1957 in Pekin to Don Lee and Glenda Fay (Gregory) Garmann. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Surviving are three children, Randy Garmann of Mississippi, Mandy (Michael) Shelton of East Peoria and Dona (Luke) Kinzler of Green Valley; six grandchildren, Isaiah Kinzler and Tobias Kinzler, both of Green Valley and Jared, Jaelynn, Michael, and Micah, all of East Peoria and an expected granddaughter on the way, Cara Kinzler; four siblings, Kerry (Kathy) Garmann, Loni (Kevin) Hieser, Jami (Andy) Dahl and Jodi (Dan) Rotten; many nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Mimi.

Randy had worked as a janitor at various locations in the area.

He was a movie lover and enjoyed watching many different movies with his daughter, Dona. He loved fishing, hiking and mushroom hunting. He could often be seen walking through town. He had a love for sports and enjoyed watching basketball, baseball, and football with his buddies. He had also played basketball and ran track in his younger years. He was a kind person and would talk to anyone

Randy was a faithful man who loved Jesus.

A celebration of Randy’s life and faith will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Liberty Baptist Church in Pekin. Cremation was accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
