Rebecca A Long

Born March 22, 1957 in Pekin to Richard Lee and Mary Rebecca (Goodwin) Cremeens, she married Gary Frank.  She later married Bradley Long.

Surviving are one daughter, Amy Cremeens of Pekin; one granddaughter, Kristen Mayes of Pekin; three sisters, Helen Cremeens, Lillie Mitchell, and Pamela (Brian) Chester, all of Pekin; and two brothers, Rick (Linda) Cremeens of Canton and Leroy (Penny) Cremeens of Pekin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson, Timothy Mayes; and one sister, Rosemary Cremeens.

Becky worked cleaning homes.

She enjoyed playing bingo and watching wrestling.  She was an avid bowler and had bowled on leagues for several years.  She was an 11 year breast cancer survivor.

There will be a celebration of her life gathering at 4 p.m. Sunday, October 16, 2011 at AMVETS Post #235, 1426 South 2nd Street in Pekin.  Please bring a covered dish to share.  Burial of cremated remains will be at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin at a later date.

Arrangements are by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her family to help with funeral expenses.
