Robert Loarn Sayers

He was born December 25, 1956 in Pekin to Raymond and Aline (McBride) Sayers. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Richard Sayers and Larry Sayers; and two sisters, Donna Cleaver and Bev Sayers.

Surviving are two daughters, Amanda (Jeremy) Petty of Pekin and Sarah (Jacob) Allen of Kansas City, Kansas; one son, Joshua Sayers of Port Richey, Florida; five grandchildren, Stella Allen, Jace Petty, Jaxon Petty, Gavin Sayers and Wyatt Servis; siblings, Steven Sayers of Chillicothe, Phyllis (Brian) Blair of Washington, Debbie (Roy) Dagit of Pekin, Mike (Colleen) Sayers of East Peoria, Mark Sayers of Pekin and Shirley (Daun) Lacey of Peoria.

He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He also enjoyed fishing, watching movies and westerns.

Robert worked as a butcher for many small and large companies such as Steve’s Meat Market in Desoto, Kansas.

Cremation has been accorded to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
