

Born October 1, 1938 in Pekin to James L. and Eva V. Peplow Bowman, Sr., he married Gayle M. Boyles on August 12, 1957 in Pekin. He later married Gudelia J. Villarroel on December 18, 1998 in Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Kris (Christie) Bowman of Salcha, Alaska and Matthew (Cheri) Bowman of Pekin; three daughters, Susan Bowman of Tremont, and Michele Wyrick and Eva M. Bowman, both of Pekin; six grandchildren; two brothers, Darrell Bowman of Mendon and James L. (Karen) Bowman, Jr. of Pekin; and one sister, Roberta (Richard) Kumpf of Pekin.
His parents preceded him in death.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Calvary Bible College in 1963.
Ronnie worked as a construction site manager for ABB, Inc. of Raleigh, North Carolina since 2003. Previously, he had been a missionary in Canada and Pennsylvania for over 20 years.
He was a former member of Pekin Bible Church.
Ronnie enjoyed woodworking, hunting, and fishing.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 20, 2006at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Paul Myers will officiate. Cremation will be accorded following the funeral and burial of cremains will be in Woodrow Cemetery in rural Pekin. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
