CHILLICOTHE ~ Sarah Louise (Armstrong) Tabor, 32, of 3500 East Cedar Point, passed away at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2007 at the Proctor Hospital Emergency Room in Peoria. She was formerly of East Peoria.

Born April 16, 1975 in Peoria to David Dwayne and Carla Louise (Weber) Armstrong, she married Douglas Earl Tabor on November 17, 1995 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are her parents of East Peoria; one daughter, Samantha Jane Tabor at home; one sister, Joy E. (Robert) Clauson of East Peoria; grandmother, Edna E. Weber of East Peoria; and mother-in-law, Donna J. Yanders of Peoria.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Carl Weber, Remus and Fern Armstrong.

She was a 1993 graduate of Faith Baptist Christian School in Pekin.

Sarah worked as a realtor for RE/MAX Unlimited in Peoria for the past nine years, last working Monday. She previously worked for Century 21 Lincoln National Realty in East Peoria for several years and while in high school, she worked as a receptionist for Jim Maloof Realtor in Peoria.

She was a member of Eastside Bible Church in Morton, the Peoria Area Association of Realtors, and Mossville Grade School PTA. She was active in Girl Scouts with her daughter.

Sarah was a supporter of Susan G. Komen Memorial Foundation and Children's Hospital of Illinois, both in Peoria.

Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2007at the Eastside Bible Church, 1310 West Jefferson in Morton. The Rev. Stephen W. Weber will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9:45 to 10:15 a.m. Friday, both at the church. Burial will be in Fon du Lac Cemetery in East Peoria.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Creve Coeur Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Samantha Tabor Educational Benefit in care of National City Bank or to the family.
