Born March 25, 1940 in Pekin to Bernard A. and Clara E. (Horn) Martin. She married Jake Adams. He preceded her in death.
Sharon worked at Chris Hoerr and Son, and Corn Products Credit Union before retiring. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Pekin.
Surviving are her daughter, Lindsay S. Adams of Bloomington; two sisters, Elizabeth “Bett” (Brent) Brentrup of Bloomfield Hills, MI, Marji (Wayne) Johnson of East Peoria; two nephews, Tim (Melissa) Johnson and Matt (Heather) Johnson; and great nephew, Aiden Johnson. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Davison-Fulton-Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sand Prairie Cemetery in Green Valley.
