I was saddened to learn of the passing from this earth of my beautiful and gifted cousin. I always refered to her "TeriLee". I am so sorry for those of you who remain here left to go on without Tera now.
As a kid on visits I ran inside and outside the house  chasing and playing with her brother Genie as he was closer to my age. But I would always go home after family gathersings and try to fix my hair and talk more grown up like my beautiful cousin TeriLee who I looked on as my personal teenage goal to emulate.

 I knew Tera "Teri" best when she was Teri Stella.  Her daughter and I became close friends in high school; her husband became my mentor.  Teri became a spiritual advisor.  
 
  Teri got me involved with YoungLife in the late '70s - a Christian group for high school students.  A few years later, as a student at ISU, I, like many college students, began to question the truth of God's existence, for a brief time. 
  
  At one point, I shared with Teri my recent doubts about God & His presence in our lives.  
 To my surprise, Teri advised me to continue raising questions about my faith & beliefs!  
 She said: "Jeff, you should always question what you believe, because the Truth can stand-up to ANY questions. If it's indeed the Truth, your questions won't change it; if it's not, then you've exposed it".  
 
  Now, 25+ years later, Teri's advice to me on that day has stood the test-of-time.  I belive her positive impact will do the same.

I feel so honored to have walked with Tera through this journey and to have been so blessed that I had the opportunity to see Tera as the beautiful woman that she was instead of defining her with her illness. She was an amazing, adventurous, enlightened woman and I will miss her so much. She shared so many beautiful stories of her children and was always so proud of Stefanie and Steven.  She so loved life and her family.  My prayer to Tera:  I know you are watching over your loved ones - help them to feel your everlasting love.  Help them to be open to your comfort.  May God bless you always.

I will miss Tera. she was such a special Lady. She was nice to everyone. very understanding, very thoughtful and very gracious. She is now in peace.  she will be missed. I am so blessed to have had her in my life even for a little while. 

I am so honored to have known such a high spirited, joyful-hearted woman as Tera always was to me. She will forever be in my heart and I will cherish the "fun" moments we had always.

My heart is with Teri's family & friends.  Teri made a difference in my life as I attended her bible study many years ago and she still has a special place in my heart, it was wonderful to talk about our Lord with Teri.  She certainly will receive many crowns....a beautiful lady is now in God's beautiful place.  

Alberto, thank you so much for bringing Tera to Pekin to see Brent at his graduation. We were so thankful to get to see her here with all the family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Aunt Jerry, Uncle Dom, Gene, Stefani, Steve and familiy:  Tera was as beautiful person inside and out.  She was so sharing and strong in her faith and such a caring person. May God be along your side to comfort.

Dear Jerry and Dom,
We are in South America working in a church, and read of your loss.  We remember Teri teaching on the tabernacle in Moses' day, and what a student of the Bible she was.  She brought the accounts to life.  She will be greatly missed.  Our prayers are with you in this difficult time.  May God uphold you with His everlasting arms.

I only knew Tera for a short while, but she was a beautiful, gracious lady with a luminous spirit.  It was a pleasure just to be in her company.

Tara was a friend since 7th grade and we shared a long fiendship and love of the arts.  Although she will be missed it is comforting to know she is in a better place and is free of pain and discomfort.  Tara had a great spirit and love of life.  My deepest condolences to her family.

My heartfelt condolences to the family. I knew Tera as "Aunt Teri". I have fond memories of her when I was a little girl. She always spoiled me during weekends I would spend with her and Uncle Gary.  Steve and Stefani, I'm so sorry for your loss. Your mom was truly an angel on earth.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Jerry, Dom, Gene, Stephanie, Steve....Teri's extended family and friends.  What a beautiful woman she was....inside and out.  I really got to know her well years ago when she led our Bible study.  I can't begin to tell you how much her love of Jesus and all that she shared from the Scriptures helped me in so many ways as a young mother.  Her life was an amazing testimony of the love of her Lord.  May she rest in His loving arms now...and may you all feel His comfort and peace during this difficult time.
