She was born August 1, 1963 in Peoria to Leland Russell and Edith Mae (Simmons) Munson. Her parents preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Chad Munson of Pekin; one granddaughter, Chloe Munson of Pekin; three siblings, William Munson of Havana, John (Sheryl) Munson of Winterset, Iowa and Sharlena (John) Burton of Pekin and 11 nieces and nephews, Ashley Barman of Pekin, Cassie Munson, Lucas Munson, Samuel Munson, Ethan Munson, Creed Munson, Abigail Munson, Eli Munson, all of Winterset, Iowa, Sherrie Munson of Peoria, Shandra Dancolvich of Havana and Shelly McKinley of Pekin.
Theresa was a veteran of the United States Army.
She was a manager in the deli department at Kroger in East Peoria.
Theresa enjoyed sewing, cross stitching, baking, and cooking. She loved all kinds of music, including country, classic rock and heavy metal.
There will be no services. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
