Theresa E Young

Born February 5, 1932 in Dahlgren to John Fidelis and Emma Alice (Hoelzle) Schnicker, she married Clyde C. Young on December 28, 1963 in Peoria. He died April 5, 2004 in Pekin. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, and three brothers.

Surviving are one daughter, Linda (Charles) Earley of Peoria; one son, Gene (Dorine) Munsell of Pekin; four grandchildren, Amy Quisenberry of Morton, Matthew (Stacey) Munsell of Bellevue, Jarod (Amanda) Munsell of Manito, and Ian Earley of Peoria; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Theresa was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Pekin. She was devoted to her faith and enjoyed reading her Bible and praying for people daily. She cherished her family.

Her visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, September 22, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. The Rev. Gary Ford will officiate.
