Born July 16, 1991 in Peoria to Timothy D. and Laura S. (Marmion) Malin, he married Patricia “Patty” Trevino on May 30, 2012 in Virginia Beach, VA. She survives.
Also surviving are his parents, one sister, Jessica (Jayme) Strube of Glasford; one brother, Kyle Malin of Mapleton; and two nephews.
Tyler served in the United States Navy from 2009 to 2013.
He was a full time student at Illinois Central College in East Peoria.
Sports were his passion in life, from wrestling at Illini Bluffs High School to being a Chicago Cubs, Bears, and Bulls fan.
His funeral service will be Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Preston- Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. David Carrington will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton.
