

Born on April 1, 1955 in Davenport, Iowa to Alvern and Joyce (Gard) Kensinger, she married Donald “Don” Eldridge Willison on December 11, 2011 in Creve Coeur. He died on June 28, 2013. She was also preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Brenda Rager.
Surviving are her one son, Mike Purcell; one daughter, Laurie Townsend; three grandchildren, Bryson Purcell, Kate McCallister, and Tyler McCallister; one great-granddaughter, Isma; one sister, Kathy Call of Bartonville; two brothers, Rick Kensinger of Lacon and Chet Nash of Peoria; her dear friend, Ashton Smith of Morton.
Vicky graduated from high school and attended two years of college. She owned and operated Electrolysis by Vicky for 23 years, retiring in 2013.
Vicky enjoyed quilting and used her craft to benefit the community through donating lap quilts to nursing homes. She also painted with oils and on ceramics and was an avid fan of the Chicago Cubs.
She was a member of Creve Coeur Christian Church.
A gathering celebrating Vicky’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2024 at Creve Coeur Christian Church. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
