

Born April 14, 1909 in Pekin to John and Emma Haas Vineyard, she married Raymond Christopher on August 23, 1930 in Pekin. He died June 16, 1969.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 brother; and 1 half-brother.
Surviving are one son, Glen R. (Carole) Christopher of Pekin; five daughters, Joyce (Richard) Long, Donna (Ray) Rabus, and Judy (Avery) Austin, all of Pekin, Sharon (Russell) Blumenstock of North Pekin, and Linda (and special friend, Jerry Parker) Belt of West Frankfort; nine grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
A homemaker, she had worked at Hinners Organ Company in Pekin from 1924-30.
She was a former member of the U.A.W. Community Club, U.A.W. Rhythm Band, and the U.A.W. Chorus.
She enjoyed BINGO, shopping, singing, and playing the organ.
Funeral services will be at Noon on Thursday, January 11, 2006 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin chapel. Rev. Todd Mushaney will officiate. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin.
