Virginia Lynn Wilkerson

Born November 16, 1965 in Peoria to Francis and Betty (Dorsey) Lowder, she married Todd Wilkerson on March 18, 2013 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are one son, Joe Dringenberg of Tuscola; two daughters, Jessica Dringenberg of Newport Beach, California and Jerrica (Micha) Thursten of Grand Junction, Colorado; five grandchildren, Haiden, Caysen, Ian, Micha Lynn and Emery; six siblings, Donna Fox, Gary Lowder, JoEllen Jobe, Lauri Henderson, David Lowder and Ted Lowder and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Debbie Berg and Malinda Foster.

Virginia worked as a hostess at Jack’s Café in Tremont.

In her free time she loved riding her Harley Davidson Motorcycle and Pokémon. She was a caring friend and would do anything to help anyone in need. She worked hard to be an amazing grandma and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A gathering celebrating Virginia’s life will be at a later date. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
