

Azam dedicated her life to being a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Despite the many struggles life dealt her, she made many sacrifices for her children. She was resilient, strong, selfless, and had an angelic and generous heart.
Azam was preceded in death by her husband, Abbas Vaziri Zanjani, and and her sister, Akram Ashjah Mahdavi.
Survivors include her three children, Saeid Vaziri (Kelly), Saeideh Vaziri (Yusef), and Hamid Vaziri (Sandra Kay); one step-son, Jalil Vaziri Zanjani (Ghodsi); grandchildren, Jonathan Vaziri (Hiba), Kayhan Vaziri (Rae), Stefan Vaziri (Chie), Pantea Moradinejad (Farshid), Dariush Moradinejad (Alayna), Mandana Moradinejad (Mohammed), Ryan Vaziri Zanjani, and Sean Vaziri Zanjani; great-grandchildren, Parmida Bayati, Roxanna Bayati, Norah Vaziri, and Luna Vaziri; one brother, Kazem Ashjah Mahdavi; sisters, Azar, Helee, Badri, Effie, and Nahid Ashjah Mahdavi; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Southern Heritage Cemetery, 475 Cahaba Valley Road, Pelham, AL 35124.
