BARGANIER, BARCLAY BAILEY, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2013 at the age of 32 in Birmingham, Alabama surrounded by her loving family after a brief sudden illness. She has a deep and firm religious faith that gives those who love her comfort that she rests with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Barclay is survived by her husband John Tison Barganier, her mother Jacque Bailey, her father Jim W. Bailey, her brother Jason Bailey and his wife Heather, and her sister Brooke Jantz and her husband Scott. She was predeceased by her grandparents, James and Kate Pipkin, and Willard and Virginia Bailey. Barclay was raised in Vestavia Hills and graduated from Auburn University in 2004 with a degree in Early Childhood Development. Since then, she has worked with her mother at Realty South, and their professional life only deepened their love for each other. Barclay had much that brought joy into her life: playing with her nieces and her nephews, spending time with her family and friends, dancing and music, and her dogs. Although Barclay's life was far too short, it had significant meaning. Her powerful compassion for and generosity to others made her beloved to everyone fortunate to know her. Her daily acts of kindness and love are truly the best signs of a good person's life. We were inspired by her presence and better for knowing and loving her. Visitation will be Friday, July 19, 2013 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home on Hwy 119 in Pelham, Alabama. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at Vestavia Hills United Methodist Church, Birmingham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Brother Bryan Mission, P.O. Box 11254, Birmingham, AL 35282 or Ronald McDonald House in Birmingham, 1700 4th Avenue South, Birmingham, AL 35233.
