Betty June Green

Her pastor, Tim Trimble, will officiate services at Hoover First United Methodist Church in Hoover, Alabama, with visitation from 12 noon to 1 p.m. and A Service of Thanks to God for Betty's Life at 1 p.m. The gravesite committal and burial will be at Patton’s Chapel Cemetery, which adjoins the church in Hoover.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Bartee and Violet Dean Bartee; brothers, Edward Jr. Bartee, Larry D. Bartee; sister, Patricia Moore; and step-mother and grandmother to her children, June Bartee.

Betty is survived by her loving children, her son, William Self (Angela), and her daughter, Bobbie Jones (David); grandchildren, Nathan Self (Kyndall), Andrew Parker (Ashley), Logan Self (Haley), and Adam Self; great-grandchildren, Kaylee Parker, Addison Self, Cassidy Self; sisters, Dianna Holsomback (James), Vera Ledbetter (Ronald); brother, Charles Bartee (Vicki); and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Ms. Betty’s children, grandchildren, and other family members were her life. She loved all of them dearly. She will forever be remembered as someone who loved and trusted the Lord and encouraged others to trust Him as she did.
