Billy R. Hallman passed away peacefully on May 28, 2019. He was born and raised in Ashland, AL. He was the oldest son of Hubert and Loma Hallman's eight children. After he graduated from Clay County High School, he married Estelle Williamson. They had three wonderful children; Mike (Julie), Ross (Terri), and Karen (Kevin Barrett). He also leaves behind five grandchildren and seven great- grandchildren. Mr. Hallman worked at Sears and retired after 28 years with them. He was a very active, 50+ year member at Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, serving children and adults in various capacities. He was also very active in various community services. A visitation will be Friday, May 31, 2019 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM with services following at Southern Heritage Funeral Home.
