Brenda Elaine Street Parker of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 2:26 a.m., with loved ones by her side. She left behind her husband, Jimmy Calbert Parker; children, Brandy Saia (husband Steven), Peytonne Williamson (husband Lee), and Chad Parker; four grandchildren, Albert "Buddy" Luverne Cason III, Braiden "Bray" Calbert Parker, Kenneth "Parker" Williamson, and Lundon "Avery" Saia; three sisters, Carlene Barefoot, Cindy Watson, and Terri Douglas; and one brother, Chris Street.
Brenda was born February 25, 1950 to Carl and Kathryn Street, who predeceased her.
Brenda was a God-fearing, Proverbs 31 devoted wife and mother. She took pride in her career as a hairstylist, loving her customers second only to her family.
As a mother, she raised her children devotedly in the church that her father helped establish. Her devotion to that church, along with her faith, provided a compass for her children and the generations to follow, as well as paved the way for the way she left this world. . . . A strong woman who fought to the end with loved ones right beside her. Loved ones who will teach the next generation to cherish the same values she had . . . God, family, and friends.
The family will greet friends from 12 noon to 1 p.m. on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Ridout's Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama, immediately followed by A Service of Remembrance for Beverly Parker at the funeral home's chapel. Burial will be at Southern Heritage Cemetery, Pelham.
