Charlie Strong Jr., age 73, passed away May 11, 2010. He was formerly of Birmingham, AL and has resided in Clinton, TN for the past 10 years. Mr. Strong was retired from the U.S. Marines with 23 years of service. He was a past member of Altadena Valley Country Club, where he enjoyed his love for golf.
He is survived by his love Kathleen, his children, Charlie Strong, David Strong, Donald Strong, Leilani S. Smith, Lorne Strong, and several grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held for Mr. Strong Monday May 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Alabama National Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, AL .
